Chocolate Chip Cookies

We do not eat a lot of sweets. Candy will sit in our house for months. My weakness is peanut butter. But, Jerry’s weakness is Chocolate Chip Cookies.  Ooey, gooey fresh out of the oven Chocolate Chip Cookies.

Chocolate Chip Cookies
  • 2 1/3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cups (12 oz) semi-sweet chocolate morsels
  1. Preheat oven to 375º.
  2. In a bowl mix flour, salt and baking soda. Set aside.
  3. In a bowl mix until creamy; butter, brown sugar, sugar and vanilla.
  4. Add eggs and mix.
  5. Slowly add flour mixture until completely mixed.
  6. Add semi-sweet morsels.
  7. Drop spoonfuls on an ungreased cookie sheet.
  8. Bake 10 minutes or until golden brown.

I know that you aren’t suppose to eat raw dough. But, I just can’t help myself. Therefore, I am usually full by the time the first batch comes out of the oven.
