Layered Taco Dip

When you need a quick & easy appetizer to take to a party, its doesn’t get any better than this. Layered Taco Dip…And its delicious.  In all the countless times I’ve made this, I don’t ever remember there being any left at the end of the night. Let is know how it turns out.


Layered Taco Dip
  • 1 (16 ounce) can refried beans
  • 1 (1 ounce) package taco seasoning mix
  • 16 ounce container sour cream
  • 8 ounce jar taco sauce
  • 1 small head iceberg lettuce, shredded
  • 2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1 container cherry tomatoes
  • 1 jar jalapeño peppers
  • Tortila chips or Fritos Scoops
  1. Spread refried beans into a large serving platter.
  2. Mix the sour cream and taco seasoning in a medium bowl. Spread over the refried beans.
  3. Top the layers with taco sauce.
  4. Sprinkle ½ of the cheese.
  5. Place a layer of lettuce.
  6. Top with Cheddar cheese
  7. Add a layer of tomatoes and jalapeño peppers.
  8. Serve with chips or Fritos Scoops
