Peanut Butter Balls (Buckeyes)

Every year during the Holiday’s we make chocolates. Peanut Butter Balls (Buckeyes) are a must. We had my mother in-law, Cindy over to help us. We opened a bottle of wine, put some Christmas music on and had a wonderful evening.

This year I made a little different version of Peanut Butter Balls. I added cream cheese. I thought it sounded good, but I prefer them with just

Peanut Butter Balls (Buckeyes)
 
Ingredients
  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 12 oz chocolate
Instructions
  1. Mix peanut butter and powdered sugar together. Feel free to add more or less for desired consistency.
  2. Roll into small balls.
  3. Melt chocolate using a double boiler or microwave. I place chocolate wafers in a glass bowl and microwave on DEFROST for a couple minutes. Make sure to check on it often and stir, DO NOT WHIP.
  4. Dip balls into melted chocolate using tongs or a chocolate dipping tool.
  5. Place on waxed paper.
  6. Let rest to harden chocolate.

 

Peanut Butter Balls (buckeyes) We make so many chocolates every year. We take platters to Christmas parties, make small gift bags for our friends and co-workers & always have some for guests at our house.

We made Copy Cat Thin Mints, Chocolate Caramel & Pecan Clusters, Chocolate Covered Pretzels, Peanut Butter Balls (Buckeyes) & Molded Chocolates.
